TRS won GHMC election 2016.
The ruling party TRS has win GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) local body elections with sensational victory. It is first time in the history of politics for any political party to secure such a huge mandate from people. In result, KT Rama Rao say's "On keeping faith on KCR, people have voted to TRS."

Therefore, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao spoke in a press meet soon after the results at TRS bhavan. He said, the results has increased their responsibility more further and promises to make corruption free state. Hence on 8th & 9th the process to elect Mayor and Dy. Mayor will take place.
