Australian Police visit Abids Police Station in Hyderabad.
Australia and India relations exist since way back before independence. Both the nations share common ties in political, cultural, economic, security, military, sport etc. India and Australia were both under British rule, after World War II the Australia has supported the independence of India.

According to some study way back thousands of years back in ancient history there is an evidence of Indians migrate to Australia. Since then many Indian have settled as PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or NRI (Non Resident Indians). Therefore a healthy and promising bilateral relations prevail.

A six member team of an Australian Police from Sydney has visited to Abids Police Station in Hyderabad to observe how latest technological initiatives are being carried like, Community CCTV Project, IP based CCTV Surveillance, Body Worn Cameras, Patrolling Bikes etc.

Telangana Hyderabad City Police were glad to guide them towards their two day visit. They appreciated the sprite and expressed their views to strengthen friendship and support to have a good relationship between Indian Police and Australian Police.
