The present ruling TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) Government has gain huge mandate from voters in Warangal, Khammam and Achampet Municipal Corporation Elections. The elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor for GWMC (Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation) are N. Narender & Khaja Sirajuddin. For GKMC (Greater Khammam Municipal Corporation) elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor are Dr. G. Papalal & B. Murali. And for Achampet Nagar Panchayat Ward elected Chairman and Vice Chairman are Tulasi Ram & Vishveswarnath.

Warangal is one of the district of Telangana state, is the second largest city after Hyderabad. It is famous for many popular attractions like Thousand Pillar Temple, Bhadrakali Temple, Warangal Fort, Khush Mahal, Ramappa Temple, Ramappa Lake, Pakhal Lake, Kolanupaka, Ethrunagaram Sanctuary, Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple and Sammakka Saralamma Temple.
